Lucknow Public School (LPS) is a private school in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. It offers education from age 3 up to the level of undergraduation. Founded in 1983 by Mr. S.P. Singh, by 2008 its enrollment had reached more than 15,000 pupils on nine campuses. LPS is affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, the Central Board of Secondary Education and the U.P. Board. The school was ranked 12th in the “most respected secondary schools” in India list compiled by IMRB International in 2007.

Lucknow Public School, Sector-D, L.D.A. Colony, Kanpur Road, Lucknow, better known as LPS Sector-D, was the first branch. The school was recognized by the U.P. Education Board and now is registered under the CBSE. Mrs. Suman Verma is the principal of this branch.
The school was built E-shaped; it has gone through many changes but retains its original E shape. The school campus contains more than 70 rooms on three floors with one library for students and teachers. School campus has two computer labs; one Physics, Chemistry, Biology lab each; one bio-tech lab; two staff rooms; two volley ball courts; one badminton court; one basketball court and three assembly grounds and an auditorium.
The school is divided into five wings:
Pre-Primary wing (Playgroup)
Primary wing (Standard I-V)
Junior wing (Standard VI-VII)
Secondary wing (Standard IX-X)
Senior Secondary wing (Standard XI-XII)
Each wing has one or two wing heads known as In-charges.

Study Hall, an English medium co-educational Secondary School, affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education is situated in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. Established in 1986, the school has a strength of over1500 students who are being imparted education up to class XII standard in various streams. Study Hall works in tandem with the three interlinked goals of access, quality and equity and believes in inclusive education. We also impart education to children with special needs, children born with physical and psychological challenges. Ever since 2003 Study Hall Education Foundation has been supporting the education of over 400 girls from disadvantaged sections of society. These girls have access to the same infrastructure and facilities as the Study Hall children.

At Study Hall We Believe That….. ‘Children are unique, powerful, important persons, worthy of our respect. They have a right to enjoy their childhood, which is an important phase of their lives and deserves to be understood respectfully rather than treated simply as a preparation for adulthood.’
We strive to create a friendly, collaborative learning environment in our classrooms, which enables our children to develop freely at their own pace, even as they move towards optimizing their potential without the fear and humiliation of unfair comparisons with their friends. We try to help our children and to ensure that they emerge not only with literacy and numerical skills, but more importantly, as secure individuals, sure of their special worth.

We conceive of teaching as an extremely creative and complex process, one requiring much imagination, continuous thinking, caring and commitment. Our pedagogy, teaching methodology, our curriculum, organizational structure, teacher-student relationship, policies and rules are all designed to actualize our vision of schooling and education. The happiness with which our children come to school, the joy with which they learn, the caring and imagination with which our teachers teach them and the appreciative co-operation that we receive from our parent body, is sufficient vindication to our efforts. This tells us that we are on the right path and encourages us to continue in this direction.
